Talk about mis-management. Read earlier about McNabb being benched with 2-minutes left for Rex Grossman, who was hit and fumbled the ball only to have it returned for a touchdown by the Lions defense. Shanahan said he was out of shape or "cardiovascular endurance", then said earlier that his hamstring wasn't 100 percent. Now the Redskins are working out JeMarcus Russell. Talk about a slap in the face for McNabb. The Redskins might as well trade McNabb. Wow, who knew one team could create this much drama in one season, bet Albert Haynesworth is laughing that he's not part of this one. How should they handle this?

Slap in the face you say. I think Shanahan castrated McNabb in front of the whole country. I guess Shanahan thought he took on Albert Haynesworth, now he can take on McNabb. But he is handling it poorly. If McNabb isn't in shape or not doing what he wants he has every right to bench him. But be truthful. What he said was such a crock. And now an assistant coach said that was the plan all along. Then why the additional stories. The Redskins owner has got to be pulling his hair out. Every move he makes becomes a disaster. I think he is going to have to clean house and start with all the coaches.
